The A’Ukre Project is a volunteer-led, advocacy-based non-profit organization that works with the Mebêngôkre village of A'Ukre. Our goal is to design initiatives that strengthen the sustainability and well-being of Indigenous Peoples and their lands. the Mebêngôkre peoples live in the Kayapó Indigenous Lands, a bioculturally diverse landscape of over 11 million hectares of forest and savannah environments in the Amazon. The village A’Ukre sits in the heart of these lands.
